You’d think, with all the time we spend crunching numbers, that it’s not often we get a chance to mingle with others in our industry, never mind get recognised for the work we do. It’s, therefore, a pleasure to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for New Firm of the Year at the Practice Excellence Awards 2016!

Since these factors are at the heart of what we do, it’s incredibly satisfying to gain such prestigious recognition in the industry.

Befitting of an evening with ‘excellence’ to its name, the event organisers have landed some top-class judges to choose the final winners. The panel consists of professional services coach and author, Heather Townsend; Karen Reyburn, who specialises in marketing accounts firms; and Mark Purdue from Thomson Reuters, to name a few.
The panel also features a host of representatives from AccountingWEB, a virtual community for accounting and finance professionals, and the organisers of the Awards. 16 judges in total make up the panel, ranging from business editors to SME development network directors.
Together, these individuals embody our core values – delivering accounts advice that’s informed, personal, and inclusive of anything our clients want. To qualify for entry, we had to submit hard evidence of the results we’ve achieved since Bright Ideas was founded; our shortlisted status speaks volumes for the attention to detail we apply to our clients.

While it’s fantastic to be on the shortlist for the Practice Excellence Awards, we never rest on our laurels.
